FTP client, FTPeel, includes mirroring and AppleScriptability features for efficient file transfer management.
We realized that 50% of our time on traditional FTP clients goes into switching to the right directory or site, so we created something called the MagicMirror. Additionally, managing bookmarks was needlessly complicated, so we included a single checkbox to simplify the process. Navigation choices were also a source of annoyance, so we created the FTPeel that switches seamlessly between column and list views. To make the viewing process effortless, we also added a wealth of preferences and a quick filter box.
The FTPeel application is a masterpiece in its elegance, responsive UI, and simplicity. It is packed with features that make it stand out among its peers. Some notable features include gorgeous photo-illustrative icons, drag-and-drop installation, and downloading and uploading. The toolbars, dock-brainy, and full-service support all add up to make it an absolute must-have.
The FTPeel app also supports cut/copy/paste, is multithreaded, uses Launch Services to post-process downloaded files, and can handle FTP URLs from other applications like Mail, Safari, etc. You can also handle and generate FTP location files from the Finder, and Keychain support is in-built for more effortless and secure logins.
The usability of FTPeel is fantastic, and users can't help but appreciate how intuitive using FTPeel is. Despite its many advantages, it does have some limitations. For instance, the application takes five seconds to start, and it automatically quits after running for ten minutes.
In summary, FTPeel offers a comprehensive solution for all your FTP needs. Its seamless interface, unique features, and exceptional usability make it stand out in the market. Despite its limitations, it is still the FTP client of choice for Mac users who want efficiency, seamless usability, and quality performance.
