FTPQ manages FTP upload queues on Linux and Unix-like systems.
For those who are interested, ftpq has a Freshmeat section. However, the developer has ceased development on this software as they now have an ADSL connection to the Internet, rendering ftpq useless to them. Despite this, version 1.06 has been deemed stable enough to serve as the final upload-only codebase.
If anyone wants to take on the development of the bidirectional codebase, they may reach out to the developer directly. It should be noted, however, that version 1.10 is said to be a mess of incomplete code and may contain several bugs. It is only recommended that you utilize this version if you want to check out the GET, DEL, MKDIR, and RMDIR modes.
Overall, ftpq 1.06 has been extensively tested during personal use and has received no significant user complaints. This release includes put, get, delete, rmdir, and mkdir modes. Hence, it's an excellent choice for those who seek a stable and reliable FTP upload queue manager.
