A retro game called "Down to Earth" from the ZX-Spectrum era has been ported to modern software for an updated gaming experience.
The objective of the game is to eliminate hostile alien cyborgs from the Universe so that the Intergalactic Bypass can be completed without any further interruptions. You must control a limited number of Astra-dozers and clear all 30 star systems and planets you visit. The game comes equipped with the latest anti-grav field to help manage obstacles, along with the fuel, crates of bombs, and spare 'dozers.
The aliens come in two forms: Trigons and Circsaws. Trigons are unpredictable and come in large numbers, while Circsaws are smarter and more volatile as they explode on contact with bombs, crates, spare 'dozers, and Conenabs. Conenabs are dangerous as they expand and detonate either under their weight or due to incarceration.
Galactic Killdozer offers a thrilling gaming experience, and the game has received praise from its original developers, Darren Byford, Martin Pointer, and Tony Lill. The game offers a lot of challenges, and players need to be strategic while using the resources at their disposal. Overall, the game is an excellent choice for fans of action-packed games.
