The plugin for Eclipse allows developers to edit input files for GNU Gengetopt with an integrated editor.
One thing to note, however, is that at present Gengetopt Eclipse does not have an associated builder. Nevertheless, it is assumed that the gengetopt files will be used within projects utilizing makefiles.
Moving on, Gengetopt Eclipse is a free, open-source tool governed by the GNU GPL License. For installation, there's no need to worry. Like most other Eclipse plugins, the easiest way to integrate Gengetopt Eclipse into your workflow is via the Eclipse update manager. Simply follow these four steps: navigate to Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install -> Search for New Features to Install -> New Remote Site. Give the new site a name (Gengetopt Eclipse), and use the following URL to complete the installation process.
