BatchLink is a free software tool that allows users to download files in batches from an http server using a link parser. It has a pure RFC implementation, and users can save links and download them in batches quickly. BatchLink uses IE but not for download purposes.
One of the best features of this software is the ability to save links and create a list of desired downloads - allowing you to download all of them in batches very quickly. While IE is used for fetching & parsing web page and in folder browser pane, it is not used for downloading.
If you're looking for more control over your downloads, this update includes a range of new features that will let you control what you want to be downloaded and what minimum size (for images) it should download. This is a batch download utility to fetch small files from HTTP servers, and it's perfect for anyone who needs to download multiple files quickly and easily.
When it comes to adding items to the download list, there are a variety of different options available. You can drop links from your web page directly onto the download list pane, load URLs from a text file, paste links from your clipboard, provide a web page address or search Google without even needing to open your browser. This makes it incredibly easy to add files to your download queue at any time.
When you're ready to start downloading files, simply press the arrow button on the toolbar. All the batched files will be downloaded in either the base folder or an auto-generated folder hierarchy, or wherever else you choose to save them - this option is provided in the control panel. The best choice is to replicate the source folder path (website directory structure will be created in the base folder), making it easier to organize and manage your downloads.
Another great feature of this software is the ability to halt downloads if necessary - simply click on a download item that hasn't been downloaded yet and then click 'Block' in the menu. This will stop downloads from that item onwards, giving you greater control over your downloading process.
If you need to remove any downloaded items or want to save remaining items for the next batch, this software makes it easy to do so. Simply remove the downloaded items from the list and save the remaining ones for later use.
Overall, this is a tiny but powerful downloader that's perfect for anyone looking to download multiple files from an HTTP server quickly and easily. Make sure to read the help file upon install to get the most out of this software. Enjoy!
