GetaBlitch Jr. is a unique sequenced gate effect that sets itself apart from traditional trance gates. Its innovative features help to create dynamic and exciting soundscapes, providing an uncompromising user experience.
When using GetaBlitch Jr., audio won't pass through until it receives one of two user-defined MIDI notes. These notes can be programmed as a MIDI part, or played live. This stopping and starting of the audio is known as "gating." But GetaBlitch Jr. doesn't just "open" and "close" the gate; the MIDI messages also allow you to control the amplitude of the audio being passed through.
Note velocity plays a key role in this aspect. If your note has a velocity of 127 (the maximum MIDI velocity), your audio will pass through at its original volume. However, any other velocity will lower the volume of the signal by a scaled amount. Overall, if you're looking for a unique sequenced gate effect with MIDI sequencing capabilities and independent channel gating, GetaBlitch Jr. might be a worthy investment.
