This free, open source application enables users to give or receive support from others.
The first step in using Gitso is for the person offering to give support to launch the program and click on "Give Support." From there, they can click the "Connect" button and wait for the person who needs help to connect.
The second step is for the person who needs help to launch Gitso and click on "Get Help." They'll need to type in the "IP Address" provided by the supporter and then click "Connect." Once they've done that, they can sit back and watch as someone else moves their mouse and operates their PC from afar.
One of the great things about Gitso is that it's cross-platform, so it can work on a variety of devices. It also uses a reverse VNC connection, which means that it's much simpler than other remote access solutions.
It's important to note that the person offering support will need to have port 5500 open on their machine, which requires a port forward on a NATed network. However, once that's done, Gitso can be a game-changer when it comes to getting support remotely.
