The software is easy to install, especially on Windows and Linux. In fact, GlassRoom is installed on Windows as a service and stays permanently on the system. Furthermore, there is a wrapper Perl script for Unix systems that makes installation and running easy.
GlassRoom provides a very easy-to-use, flexible, and aesthetically pleasing chat applet. It also offers HTTP-tunneling technology, which facilitates communication behind firewalls. Plus, the chat server is extra stable and requires no restarts in months or even years!
