GLBOX is a sandbox software in a lightweight version.
One of the key features of GLBOX is its ability to perform multiple and single traces. This allows tracing individual processes, specifying the process id on the GLBOX command line or tracing all processes belonging to the user. Additionally, GLBOX provides trace output that allows for the control of all tracee system calls. It will display a text message each time the tracee executes a system call and generate a histogram of the sequence calls issued during the tracee execution. The trace can also be redirected to disk for offline analysis.
GLBOX also provides policy-based flagging that supports a list of forbidden system calls. This list will be stored in a text file called a "policy." Whenever a system call is made which is listed in the policy, GLASSBOX will generate a special alert message. Furthermore, GLBOX allows administrators to specify an email address where to send an email when a blacklistd syscall is used.
Another remarkable feature of GLBOX is its ability to show statistics about the syscalls done during the last execution. It allows administrators to send email alerts to specific addresses. Furthermore, GLBOX comes with bug fixes and has modified the color scheme. The tool is now restricted to non-privileged users only.
In conclusion, GLBOX software provides an efficient way to monitor the execution of programs with ease. It features a simple yet effective monitoring system that makes it a great choice for anyone looking to secure their software.
