GolfTracker is a python and GTK app that enables monitoring of golf stats.
Using GolfTracker is a breeze. When launching GolfTracker for the first time, you will start with a new profile. The initial step is to add a course to this profile, followed by the specific information for each teebox at the course. This may seem tedious in the beginning, but once you've entered your local courses and teeboxes, you're good to go.
Once the courses and teeboxes are set up, you can easily enter your round scores. All you have to do is select which course and teebox you played and enter the information for each hole. GolfTracker tracks your score, putts, fairways hit, and also generates the Greens in Regulation (GIR) statistic.
After entering enough rounds, you can check your handicap index and calculate a specific handicap value for a course and teebox. Additionally, you can check your stats for any combination of rounds.
The program requirements for GolfTracker are minimal. You'll need GTK+ version 2.8.x, Python, and PyGTK. GolfTracker runs smoothly on all these prerequisites, making it easy to use and fast to execute.
Overall, GolfTracker is an outstanding software designed for golf enthusiasts. With its smooth user-interface and efficient features, it's a top-notch application for tracking your golf statistics.
