GradeBox - This is a very useful tool that helps students track classes & assignment grades.
Version: 1.0GradeBox is a simple program designed to allow students to track their classes and assignment grades.
Operating System: Mac OS X
When you launch GradeBox by launching the application icon, it automatically creates a new file for you. The first thing you should do when you create a new file is to set the grading system. This allows you to enter grading system your school uses.
The default is plus's and minus's (A- or B+), there is also a default of half grades(AB). You can also edit the list to make a more custom list.
Note: If you do this step after you have entered class information, all class grade break points will be cleared and will have to be re-entered.
Once your grading system is set, you can create new classes. You can create a new class by using the 'New Class' in the 'File' menu, or you can use the 'Add Class' toolbar item. Once you have added the new class you can double click its name in the Classes Drawer (use drawer toggle to show) to rename it, or you may use the 'Class Settings' pane.
This program also allows you to enter adiacent information about the class like location, instructor, time, and you can also set the minimum percent for each letter grade.
You add new assignments using the 'New Assignment' menu item (in the 'Class' menu) or with the 'New Assignment' toolbar item. To edit the assignment data, simply double click the value you want to change and enter what you want to change it to.
