GStreamermm is a GNOME-based GStreamer multimedia library.
To get started, I simply needed to navigate to the package's source code directory and run the `./configure` command to configure the package for my system. If using `csh` on an older version of System V, I needed to instead run `sh ./configure` to prevent `csh` from executing `configure` itself. The `configure` process took a bit of time, but provided useful messages about which features it was checking for.
Once configured, I could proceed with running the `make` command to compile the package. I could then run any self-tests with `make check`, and finally install the programs, data files, and documentation with `make install`. If needed, I could remove program binaries and object files with `make clean`, and remove the files `configure` created with `make distclean`.
Overall, I found gstreamermm to be a reliable and user-friendly package that I would recommend to others in need of a GStreamer mm library for GNOME.
