Headmaster Canny is a software tool that allows users to create weekly educational timetables. With an easy-to-use interface and a reliable algorithm, it simplifies the creation of schedules for schools and other educational institutions.
The Contextual Menu only displays the available and sufficiently-sized classrooms at the time. The resource data can be read from file formats that use tabs, or you may choose to enter them manually if you already have the data. The program allows you to print or save timetables to html-files for each resource group, including classes, teachers, classrooms, and courses.
Headmaster Canny offers a variety of key features, making it a useful software program for schools, teachers, and students. The program creates weekly timetables for individual resource groups, including teachers and classrooms, allowing immediate viewing of their schedules. You can save your basic information as a project document while saving the timetables as a separate timetable document. Plus, one project can include several alternative timetables.
Additionally, using the drag-and-drop feature, you can adjust the lessons as required, with notifications of conflicts appearing in the Conflicts Window. You can view these conflicts and try to resolve them, depending on the available methods.
The program is versatile, allowing you to open the Contextual Menu on any lesson in the timetable using a right-click. From there, you can move the lesson to another classroom with ease. And whether you enter the resources manually or from a file, Headmaster Canny ensures the best management for generating timetables with ease.
Headmaster Canny requires a Macintosh G3 or newer, with limitations on features on the demo version. Unfortunately, it does not allow printing or making HTML timetables, and an "Unregistered" notification is displayed in red in the Timetable Window.
