This software allows for the implementation of the Hessian RPC protocol, which facilitates remote communication between different software applications.
While HTTP is recommended as the transport protocol for Hessian, any serial two-way channel can be used. As of now, version 1.0 of the Hessian protocol has been implemented within HessianPy. Currently, all the protocol description features are supported except the client's ability to set interface class names and call headers.
HessianPy is currently a client-only implementation, but there are dumb server implementations that have been made available strictly for testing purposes. As for transport protocols, HTTP and HTTPS are the only two that are currently supported.
