Hippo Canvas software was created specifically to present the client's stacker popup feature.
The installation process for the software is quite simple. All you need to do is to navigate to the directory where the package's source code is located and type `./configure' to configure the package for your system. In case you're using `csh' on an older version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure' instead to prevent `csh' from attempting to execute `configure' itself.
While running `configure', it prints some messages, indicating which features it is checking for. Once the configuration is done, you can go ahead and type `make' to compile the package. If you want to run any tests that come with the package, you can do so by typing `make check'.
To install the programs, data files, and documentation, type `make install'. After installing, you can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean'. If you wish to remove the files that `configure' created, which will enable you to compile the package for a different computer, type `make distclean'.
There is also a `make maintainer-clean' target, which is mainly intended for the package's developers. If you use it, you will be required to get other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution. Overall, the installation process for Hippo Canvas project is relatively straightforward, making it an excellent tool for developers.
