HPGL/2 interpreter software converts HPGL/2 printer commands into graphics that can be displayed on a computer or plotted on a printer. It makes the printing process easier for people who use different models or brands of plotters.
After two weeks of intensive coding, the initial programming of HPGS was up and running. Since then, the software has been further developed to accommodate the desired goals. The team requires a reasonable quality of the parser and to follow through; they maintain a testsuite of real-world HPGL/2 files.
At the moment, the testsuite is not a component of HPGS because the files may contain sensitive information. These are the files that belong to their customers. However, this feature will not detract from the software's efficacy. In conclusion, HPGS has been a reliable HPGL/2 interpreter that has met the needs of many of its users.
