iAmarokPod is a SuperKaramba plugin that simulates an iPod interface to remotely control Amarok audio player. It emulates the popular iPod look with a user-friendly and sleek design.
Firstly, you will be able to view the track name, artist name, album name, album cover, track length, time remaining, and current playlist index of the track that is currently playing on Amarok. When Amarok is not launched, the display goes black, helping to conserve your computer's energy resources.
Additionally, when Amarok is launched but no tracks are playing, iAmarokPod displays the current playlist, making it easy for you to find and select the track you want to play. Moreover, this theme comes with play/pause, previous track and next track functionalities, which provide instant control over your tracks without having to actually access the Amarok application.
As for user-interface, the menu button can quickly call the Amarok window, while the Amarok logo turns the theme on/off to suit your preference. Another great feature of iAmarokPod is the option to select between the white or black version, giving you more freedom to personalize your experience.
To use iAmarokPod, you will need SuperKaramba installed on your device. Finally, you would be pleased to know that this recent version has been updated and now comes in .skz format with four new backgrounds, including SUSE & KDE in Black/White, providing you with increased flexibility and more customization options.
