A software architecture approach that enables creation of systems which can be composed from various component services using HTTP and open web standards. Implemented in PHP programming language.
First, create a database for the Infrared package (this step is optional). Once you have created the necessary database, run the following commands on your MySQL-Server within the relevant database. These commands will create the required tables:
CREATE TABLE `session` (
`code` varchar(5) NOT NULL,
`timestamp` datetime NOT NULL,
`auth` tinyint(1) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
PRIMARY KEY (`code`)
);
CREATE TABLE `captcha` (
`captcha_id` bigint(13) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
`captcha_time` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL,
`ip_address` varchar(16) default '0' NOT NULL,
`word` varchar(20) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`captcha_id`),
KEY (`word`)
);
Open the config file located at "/system/application/config/config.php" and change the "base_url" parameter to match the relevant URL where the server will be running. Then, open the services config file located at "/system/application/config/services.php" and change the password. Finally, open the database config file located at "/system/application/config/database.php" and set the options for database connection.
Overall, the Infra-Red package offers a complete and easy-to-use solution for implementing a service oriented architecture in PHP. The included server and client libraries make it simple to get started, and the step-by-step installation process ensures that even those with little experience will be able to set up the package quickly and efficiently.
