IntCalc is a Macintosh emulator of the HP16 programmer's calculator designed for scientific use. It has an easy-to-use interface and is ideal for complex calculations.
One of the key features of IntCalc is its ability to display all four elements of the stack with ample room to show all 32 bits in binary mode. Each element can be individually displayed in multiple formats including binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal, or ASCII. In addition, the software provides many bitwise integer functions including "and", "or", "not", shift, rotate, etc.
IntCalc also offers a wide range of floating-point functionality that includes y-to-the-x, square root, reciprocal, and logarithmic as well as trigonometric functions. This makes it a perfect tool for complex mathematical calculations.
The software is fully programmable which enables users to create custom calculations and functions. On-line help is available by command-clicking on any button, and a separate detailed documentation is also included.
The only limitation of the software is the 30-day trial period. Overall, IntCalc is a powerful and versatile scientific calculator that is a great addition to any Mac user's software collection.
