Internet Neighborhood is a Windows shell extension that enables users to access FTP servers via Windows Explorer. It allows for remote FTP site browsing, full directory structure upload/download, and local hard drive file management.
Not only can you upload and download entire directory structures, but you can also manage files as if they were on your local hard drive. Along with its convenience, Internet Neighborhood also provides security features such as SSL, SSH and S/Key password encryption support.
If you need to transfer files at specific times or maybe optimize your bandwidth, the file transfer manager allows you to schedule transfers accordingly. Even without an internet connection, directory caching enables you to browse FTP sites. In case of broken transfers, Internet Neighborhood automatically resumes transfers to ensure efficiency.
A unique HotCopy feature extracts site profile information from an FTP URL that is copied to the Windows clipboard. This includes the username and password fields which are then automatically filled in. Put simply, Internet Neighborhood is a powerful tool that simplifies your FTP server workflows.
