iPhSwitch simplifies the process of changing iPhoto libraries through a drag-and-drop interface.
To use iPhSwitch, all you need to do is drag the iPhoto library folder onto the application. By default, iPhSwitch looks for a folder called "iPhoto Library" located in the "Pictures" folder in your home directory. If you want to use a different library, simply drag and drop the corresponding folder onto the iPhSwitch icon.
Creating a new library is also a breeze with iPhSwitch. Just make a new folder anywhere in the Finder and drag it onto the application icon. And if you're already running iPhoto, don't worry - iPhSwitch will automatically quit and relaunch the application once the library has been set.
Switching back and forth between your libraries is just as easy. Dropping any library onto iPhSwitch will instantly switch to that library. You can also drag entire volumes - like CDs, DVDs, FireWire disks, and disk images - onto iPhSwitch, as long as they contain the correct data.
One thing to keep in mind: iPhSwitch does require iPhoto to be installed on your computer in order to work. As long as you have iPhoto installed, though, this software is a great option for anyone looking to manage multiple iPhoto libraries with ease.
