iPodTimer is a software that calculates the time of playback for iPods and other MP3 devices.
The way it works is quite simple. iPodTimer listens on any available audio input and measures how long there is sound coming in on that port. To compensate for silence between songs and in certain songs, a certain amount of "fuzz" is provided. This makes it easier to get more accurate results.
It is worth noting that all functions are working correctly in the unregistered version. However, after ten minutes of use, the application will consider your iPod device "dead." This is a limitation, but it does not detract from iPodTimer's usefulness in any significant way.
One thing to keep in mind is that you will need at least one audio input device to use iPodTimer. If you have that, however, you will find this utility very useful for tracking and monitoring the battery time of your MP3 devices.
