“Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG” officially supported features include BSS mode (Infrastructure, Managed), IBSS mode (Ad-Hoc), WEP (OPEN and SHARED KEY mode), 802.1x EAP with wpa_supplicant and xsupplicant, 802.11i (WPA/WPA2), Wireless Extension support, full B and G rate support, full A rate support (ABG only), transmit power control, and S state support (ACPI suspend/resume).
There are also working but not officially supported features for "Intel PRO/ Wireless 3945ABG," such as QoS, Monitor mode (aka RFMon), Associated RF promiscuous mode, and Frame Rx simulation.
Another release has made some changes in this project. For instance, the workqueue rework for kernel 2.6.20 and above has been incorporated, the WE-21 ESSID fix, and an event log output enhancement.
