IRCRelay software is a client that uses the Tkinter interface to relay IRC chats.
IRCRelay has two versions of its software. The first is the fully functional GUI version (ircrelay-gui.py). The second version is the console-only version (ircrelay-console.py), which is unfinished but offers a unique experience for users.
I discovered IRCRelay when I was spending lots of time communicating with friends on irc.enterthegame.com, which is known for its lag problems. We decided to switch to irc.box.sk, but some of us didn't want to switch. This situation led to the ultimate challenge of not being able to unite our conversations, as 80% of us were on ETG while the other 20% were on box.sk. However, IRCRelay came to my rescue by allowing us to be on the same channel by creating two connections (one to box.sk and the other to ETG). This way, IRCRelay was able to intercept messages from the users and pass them to the appropriate server.
Overall, IRCRelay's ability to connect two different servers and relay messages is impressive. It's easy to set up and is a useful tool for anyone looking for a solution to relay messages between two channels.
