iTooth is a server software for Symbian phone that enables users to control iTunes with their mobile device. This software simplifies the control of iTunes and with its features, users can have a better experience using their phone to enjoy their favorite music.
The program itself works seamlessly with iTunes, but there are some issues with other RFCOMM bluetooth applications. In other words, the initial release of the program may lock up other RFCOMM bluetooth applications (such as file transfer). This is because Bemused by default tries to connect to the "last" serial port it detects. However, the future releases of iTooth will solve this issue somehow by possibly providing the RFCOMM channel to the users who will then have to set Bemused to it.
Another thing to consider is that iTooth OSX will now run without having iTunes being active. However, it requires a manual 'Reload Data' to sync its internal playlist structure once iTunes is active if a re-sync is required. Nonetheless, if you send commands such as Play Song X, iTunes will fire up if it's not already active.
Overall, iTooth is an excellent software that does exactly what it promises. The features are top-notch and make managing your iTunes playlists a breeze. So, if you're a Mac user and looking for a way to manage your iTunes with your Symbian Mobile phone, then download iTooth today!
