iTooth - Bemused server for Symbian phone to control iTunes
Version: 0.3iTooth is a Bemused Server for Mac OS X. iTooth allows you to use your Symbian Mobile phone to control iTunes, manage playlists and much more.
Operating System: Mac OS X
· Bluetooth Adapter (or Built-in)
· Symbian Mobile Phone running Bemused.
· iTunes 4
NOTE: The inital release will lock up another other RFCOMM bluetooth applications (such as file transfer), this is due to Bemused (honest!) which will try by default to connect to the "last" serial port it detects. Future releases will solve this problem somehow, possibly by providing the RFCOMM channel to the users, which they will then have to set bemused to. Bemused OSX will now run without iTunes being active, but requires a manual 'Reload Data' to sync its internal playlist structure once iTunes is active, if a re-sync is required. If you send commands such as Play Song X, iTunes will fire up if it is not already active.
