The Interactive Voice Application Network is a software designed to enable interaction between users and computer-based voice applications. It allows for efficient and automated communication through voice commands, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience.
IVAN's programming targets high availability for special numbers, such as toll-free numbers (x800), premium rate numbers and DIDs. This feature ensures that all relevant services work accordingly without any interruption. IVAN has already been installed in over 108 groups, with more than 2000 extensions and nearly 1880 services. IVAN has been operating since July 2006 and is ready for users after undergoing two years of successful testing in a production environment.
IVAN is not a Private Branch Exchange (PBX). Its primary function is to handle a massive number of calls simultaneously for special numbers, premium rates, and DIDs. In other words, IVAN is more of an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system than a PBX. This software is designed to be placed in front of the PBX, where it efficiently manages incoming calls, handles IVR and other services before forwarding them to the PBX. However, if required, IVAN can also be used as a PBX.
In conclusion, IVAN is a reliable software package with numerous features specifically curated to provide enterprise-level solutions for managing special numbers, premium rates, and DIDs. The cost-effective and user-friendly software is backed by a two-year successful production environment, further adding to the overall reliability of IVAN.
