j0urnal is a LiveJournal client designed for Unix systems and runs in console mode.
Here's how you can install j0urnal on your Unix console: source releases can be obtained by running 'tar xvfz j0urnal-1.0.x.tar.gz' (you probably already knew that) and then 'cd j0urnal-1.0.x/' (you probably guessed that as well). Next, run 'make' (this might catch you off guard!). Lastly, type 'cp j0urnal /usr/bin/' to relocate the software.
Alternatively, binary releases are available too. To install, extract the package by typing 'tar xvfz j0urnal-Platform-Processor-1.0.x.tar.gz' followed by 'cd j0urnal-Platform-Processor-1.0.x/'. Then, type 'cp j0urnal /usr/bin/' or a directory of your choice.
To run j0urnal, simply type either 'j0urnal' or 'j0urnal ' on the command line. Any inquiries, feedback, or bug reports can be sent to [email protected].
The first release of j0urnal has these features: basic server/client authentication, postevent support. Install the software today and experience its capabilities for yourself.
