Apimac Japanese-English Dictionary helps you to write letters, send emails and make phone calls in good Japanese.
You can copy words from the application and paste them into another document. The English translations include information about whether the word is a noun, an adjective, a verb.
You can search for grammatical abbreviations, like "adj-na" for "adjectival nouns or quasi-adjectives" and the dictionary will display dozens of Japanese adjectival nouns or quasi-adjectives entries with their English translations.
Which Japanese-English dictionaries can be used?
Apimac Japanese-English Dictionary can use various Japanese-English dictionary files that user can download from internet, the format of those files have to be either Unicode UTF-8 Tab-delimited format or Japanese EUD EDICT format.
Note: The application don't support XML format files, this mean that user cannot use JMdict (Japanese-Multilingual Dictionary) files.
