A Mac-compatible program that allows free creation of scientific plots.
One of the standout features of JPlot is its ability to name each column of data, which makes selecting columns for graphing a far easier process. Each X-Y pair is drawn according to specific plot-style settings that can be easily modified using the built-in GUI. Point type, line colors, dash-patterns and other useful parameters can all be adjusted in this way, giving users the opportunity to create professional-quality graphs.
In addition to traditional graphing functions, JPlot also allows users to build specialized graphs such as Piper and Pourbaix diagrams often used by geochemists. Since version 1.1, these tools have become standard features within JPlot's offering. Overall, this software is an excellent choice for any scientist or researcher in need of high quality graphs and simple, straightforward functionality.
