K Learning Aid is a software tool that presents kvtml file items as pop-ups on the desktop for easy learning.
What's great about Klaid is that it is like having a virtual study partner always there with you while you are working on other things such as surfing the web or coding. With Klaid, you can be sure that you are equipped with all the essential terms and knowledge for your next exam or test.
To install Klaid, simply extract the archive and run "make -f Makefile.cvs && ./configure --prefix=PATH" first. You can insert your KDE base installation dir for PATH, which is typically "/usr" for Debian sid and Kubuntu. Then, you can compile it by typing "make" and install the program (as root) via checkinstall or "make install".
In the latest release, version 0.7.6 beta, Klaid has added a Dutch translation (thanks to Pieter Pareit) and a Slovenian translation (thanks to Jaka Kranjc), along with some small bug fixes. The source code for Klaid should now compile smoothly again.
