CppSymbolViewer is a Kate Plugin that displays C/C symbols extracted from source files as a software summary.
Kate also comes loaded with a range of plugins, including helloworld, htmltools, insertcommand, openheader, projectmanager, textfilter, and xmltools. These plugins serve a variety of functions such as facilitating the insertion of HTML tags, creating, compiling, and building projects within Kate, etc. Kate also features Kicker, a plugin that enables Kolourpicker (used to pick colors and display their values) and Ktimemon, a small app to display CPU, memory, and swap info. Additional plugins for Konqueror are available such as Babelfish, Dirfilter, Domtreeviewer, Khtmlsettingsplugin, Kimgalleryplugin, Kuick, Sidebar/Mediaplayer, Smbmounter, Uachanger, Validators, Webarchiver, and Fsview.
Noatun features alarm, alsaplayer, blurscope, dub, luckytag, lyrics, nexscope, noatunmadness, pitchablespeed, synaescope, tippercanoe, tyler, and wavecapture. In addition to these, KNewsTicker comes equipped with a range of scripts such as fyensget.py (a Python script for retrieving news from the Danish newspaper, Fyens Stiftstidende), bbc.pl, kataribe.pl, newsrss.pl, and stock.pl.
The latest release of CppSymbolViewer project includes some notable improvements such as an improved PHP parser, improved Fortran parser, support for on/off parameters display, and support for ANSI C89. Additionally, key navigation now handles Return key press. All in all, CppSymbolViewer is a great tool for developers who need a quick and easy way to display C/C symbols from source files.
