KBounce combines puzzle elements with arcade gameplay for an engaging single-player experience.
The game starts with a rectangular tiled field surrounded by a wall, and you must limit the size of the room in which the balls are. To accomplish this, you have to build new walls on the field. New walls are constructed by clicking the left mouse button on an active area of the field, at which point two walls will start to grow in opposite directions from the square the mouse was clicked in.
Only one wall in each direction may be growing on the screen at any given time. It's essential to note that a new wall is not permanent until its "head" runs into another wall. Also, if a ball collides with any part of the wall except the head before the head has run into another wall, the new wall will disappear completely, and one life will be lost.
However, if a ball collides with the head of the new wall in the direction of the wall's growth, the wall will stop growing there and become permanent, with no loss of life. But if the ball collides with the head from any other side, the ball will bounce off, and the wall will continue to grow normally.
To complete a level, you must decrease the size of the active field by at least 75% within the time allowed. The game keeps you on your toes by not letting you slack off since the time limit forces you to think on your feet while mastering the game's mechanics.
When the player's cursor is over the playing field, it shows as a pair of arrows pointing in opposite directions, either horizontally or vertically. These arrows point in the direction the walls will grow when the left mouse button is clicked. This direction can be changed by clicking the right mouse button.
To sum it up, KBounce is a thrilling and well-thought-out game that will keep you entertained and on edge. It's easy to play, but difficult to master, making it perfect for anyone who loves a good challenge.
