KCad is a screensaver software for KDE 3 that is built on top of KCad 1.1, a previous screensaver for KDE 2.2.
The default look of KCad is very KDE-ish but you can make it look more convincing by customizing it with the following text which needs to be added to the file $HOME/.kde/share/config/kcad.kssrc.
The installation process for KCad is quite simple; just run the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/path/to/kde --with-qt-includes=/path/to/qt-includes
make all
su
make install
exit
It is important to note that if you are using KUbuntu, the prefix would be /usr. Overall, KCad is a fun and unique screensaver that adds some personality to your KDE desktop.
