KDELirc Improved (patch) enhances the usability of kdelirc by integrating new features.
Additionally, this software introduces an option that allows mode changing with just one key, eliminating the need to bind a key for each mode. Moreover, a new DCOP method now enables the suspension and resumption of key binding for the remote.
In this release, the Konversation OSD has been removed in favor of the Amarok OSD, which now has improved translucency support and comes with images. The software also includes a new icon for mode change and keypress, making it easier to recognize them visually. Moreover, users can now choose a different font for mode change and key press.
Finally, the software also comes with a DCOP call that enables users to display the OSD text through dcop. These and other features make the KDELirc Improved (patch) a valuable addition for those who use kdelirc.
