KidzBlog is a tool that enables children to publish their own weblogs.
One of the most outstanding features of KidzBlog is that every post on the weblog comprises either a picture, some text, or both. Children can either directly draw their pictures using KidzBlog or paste them from other applications. Additionally, the post text can be easily customized and styled to meet their preferences, and they can even include links to other web pages.
Another advantage of KidzBlog is that it enables children to customize their weblogs quickly and easily. The layout editor integrated into KidzBlog allows them to change the look and feel of their weblog entirely according to their preferences. This feature provides an excellent opportunity for children to exercise their creativity and design skills.
One shortcoming of KidzBlog, however, is that the unregistered version has some limitations. It will only allow you to publish ten posts on your weblog. However, upon getting the registered version, you can enjoy unrestricted publishing.
KidzBlog has been updated with several new features in this latest release. For instance, it now has support for the HaloScan comments system that makes it possible for readers to leave comments on published posts. Additionally, the name of the software has been changed to KidzBlog to reflect its focus on children.
Furthermore, the post text editor in KidzBlog is now WYSIWYG, allowing for more effective text styling. Bold, italicized, and underlined text appears the way it is edited, and links appear blue. All styles are converted to HTML when published to a weblog. With all these features and benefits, KidzBlog is undoubtedly an excellent tool for children interested in publishing their weblog.
