KLiveJournal is a KDE application designed for LiveJournal.com, providing a user-friendly interface to access the site's features.
If you are interested in installing the software, you need to extract the archive and build it with the command: ./configure make make install. Additionally, using the command ./configure --prefix=/usr is probably a better option.
The recent release of this software offers new features such as the LJIO::Scheduler now processes jobs that cannot interfere simultaneously, an added Friends Editor, KWallet no longer complains about missing window id, and the password dialog is now centered properly on the main window. Moreover, values that were not decoded as utf8, including group name, login message, and location property, are now treated correctly.
A bug that caused the client to hang on KDE session restore has been fixed, and the event browser now saves the listview layout. Overall, KLiveJournal is an excellent software that has improved significantly in its recent release.
