Kneemail is a software designed for journaling, prayer and praise. It is a comprehensive application for spiritual and personal development.
At the heart of Kneemail are the journal entries. The entries contain a subject, text body, text answer (for prayer requests), type, status, and scripture passage. The application allows users to include a scripture passage with their entries sourced from BibleGateway.com. Additionally, the Verse of the Day feature provides random scripture passages from the online web service that supplies all the scripture in Kneemail.
The application allows users to print their journal entries in the format of the folder, subject, their name, dates, text body, text answer (for prayer entries), and any associated scripture passage.
The Prayer Plan feature is a way to "schedule" prayer requests for specific days. Users can check the boxes for each prayer entry as they pray and the entry will disappear from the Prayer Plan until the next scheduled appearance.
For personalized scripture passages, Kneemail includes the BIRTHVERSE feature consisting of 366 verses chosen from the 66 books of the Bible. These verses correlate with the user's birth month and day, allowing them to claim their verse and study, memorize, and share it with others.
The application also features a basic search capability allowing users to search for entries by subject, text body, and answer text using keywords or exact phrases. Furthermore, users can backup and restore data using the popular Zip format to keep their database safe in the case of computer issues.
The latest release of Kneemail includes a complete rewrite of the code, now encompassing all features previously mentioned. The application aims to provide users with an accessible and efficient means of journaling and prayer.
