This plugin improves incoming audio by applying filters such as DC/LF blocking, Nyquist/HF blocking, and undenormalization. It is easy to use and can be integrated into audio processing software.
When working with digital audio, you can experiment with opening non-audio files pretending that the bits in that file represent audio samples. From that point, you can make original sounds out of the raw bits by applying all types of sound transformations and effects. However, these artificial sound sources might not be centered around a zero line, which is the average sum of all samples. This is referred to as the DC offset.
KTAudioHealer removes this DC offset and other very low frequencies according to a specified cutoff frequency. Consequently, full headroom is maintained, and your sound equipment will be healthier, allowing you to enjoy top-quality audio.
On the other end of the spectrum, very high frequencies around half of the sample frequency, or Nyquist frequency, can also cause issues. This is where the Nyquist/HF blocking comes in handy. It removes frequencies near Nyquist based on a defined cutoff frequency.
Lastly, extremely small audio sample values may cause your computer's processor to operate slower. This is why KTAudioHealer comes equipped with undenormalization capabilities, ensuring that your samples come out in a non-denormalized state irrespective of the samples it receives.
