Version: 1.9.16a betaLaTeX2rtf is a translator program which is intended to translate a LaTeX document (precisely: the text and a limited subset of LaTeX tags) into the RTF format which can be imported by several textprocessors (including Microsoft Word for Windows and Word for Macintosh).
Operating System: Linux
It compiles on a wide variety of unix systems, Macintosh (using the DropUnix environment), and MS-DOS/MS-Windows (using the DJGPP compiler).
Also see the more detailed documentation in html format or pdf format.
You can download LaTeX2rtf of course from this site, but also from any CTAN server (upload of new versions to CTAN with some delay).
As of 2004-01-20, there is a separate version available for MS Windows, including a GUI shell (l2rshell.exe) and coming with a windows installer (thanks to Mikhail Polianski). This is downloadable as a separate package.
Starting with version 1.9.15 and up, the GUI shell will no longer be included with the DOS version.
