This software is an updated version of the LightGrey KDE3-Style, designed to be used with XFCE. It includes enhanced features and an improved user experience.
The theme is very simple to install, and there are only a few easy steps to follow. To install LightGreyV2, all you have to do is right-click on your desktop and select "Change Desktop Background." Click on the theme tab, drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window, and voila! A confirmation message indicates that everything went well, and you can activate the theme with one click.
On a side note, GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment-that part of the graphical user interface that sits on top of an operating system. It encompasses a range of software, from development frameworks to application software for the desktop, and working on the programs handling application launching, file management, and window and task management.
GNOME is part of the GNU project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. Simplicity, usability, and making things "just work" are some of the key factors that GNOME puts a heavy emphasis on.
