Linuxlogo displays the Linux logo via an X Window System window.
Installation of LinuxLogo is straightforward. The software installs in /usr/local/X11R6/bin/, which may not be in your path. One way to work around this is to try ./configure --prefix=/usr/ to install LinuxLogo in /usr/X11R6/bin/, although this option is untested. An alternative is to put /usr/local/X11R6/bin/ in your path (and /usr/local/X11R6/man/man1/ in your man path).
Certain features of LinuxLogo are enabled only on request. Therefore, to ensure that all desired features are in place, run ./configure --help. More information on installation is available in the doc/Install file.
The latest version of LinuxLogo has some minor bug fixes as well as updates to the interface and documentation. Overall, LinuxLogo is a great tool to display the Linux logo, and its installation is relatively easy to set up.
