LogMeister is a centralized log monitoring and analysis software that can handle all types of log files, such as Event Logs, text logs, and RSS. It offers robust features to help manage and monitor logs efficiently in real-time.
LogMeister is designed to alert you to critical events throughout your network, facilitate central archiving of log data, and assist in analysis and meeting audit requirements. As a central monitoring solution, LogMeister eliminates the need to install agents on monitored PC's and servers. Instead, it gathers information from logs throughout your network. Incoming data is scanned to identify entry patterns of interest, and if detected, LogMeister can perform a diverse range of actions and alerts.
These actions include sending email, writing to log, running scripts, batch files or applications, displaying popup messages and sound alerts, among others. The LogMeister log viewer presents gathered log data in a consistent, easy-to-read format. You can merge data from multiple logs for easier timeline analysis, filter, sort, and reorganize columns, and create multiple views of the same data. With just a click of a button, you can export a view in various formats, including text, csv, xml, formatted HTML reports, and RSS feeds.
Data can be exported according to various triggers in several formats, making it simple to import data into a database or into analysis applications, such as Excel or Crystal Reports. Additionally, LogMeister allows you to publish your event logs as RSS feeds. Overall, LogMeister is an indispensable tool for centralizing log monitoring, reducing workload, and facilitating effective analysis of log data.
