MakeDelay is a user-friendly amaroK script which allows for easy insertion of delays between songs, enhancing the listening experience.
For those experiencing a "brain burn" from song transitions or have an eclectic music collection with various artists and genres, this script can provide some much-needed relief.
While mostly functional, MakeDelay does experience some known issues. Firstly, it cannot differentiate between the end of a song and a manual play-stop by the user. Fortunately, the team is working to address this concern.
Secondly, the Playlist mode must be random to prevent the software from continuously playing the first song; this is due to the script's implementation of the playlist setStopAfterCurrent feature.
MakeDelay only requires amaroK to operate, making it an accessible and straightforward option for adding delays to song transitions.
The latest release, accompanied by a new graphical user interface, features a brand new About dialog. Overall, MakeDelay offers a user-friendly solution for managing song transitions and is an excellent use for those who prefer to avoid musical repetition.
