This tool enables users to quickly and reliably download tile satellite images from Google Maps. It's easy to use and efficient, making it a smart choice for anyone who needs access to these images.
This software also offers the added convenience of coordinate-based locating. You can input precise coordinates such as "104.073653, 30.661714", and the software will display the corresponding location on the map. Unlike in Google Earth, the software requires the longitude value to be entered first, followed by the latitude value.
Downloading progress can be conveniently monitored in a dedicated window provided by the software. Each point on the map represents a 256 x 256 image, the color of which indicates its download status. Gray blocks represent images that have not been downloaded, red blocks indicate images that failed to download, and green blocks indicate successful downloads.
The software also provides a window for browsing completed downloads. From here, you can easily check downloaded results and export tile images into a single, large image using the "Export|Mosaic to images" tab.
Creating new download tasks digitally is also supported. Simply click on the "Download Task List" tab and click "New Task" in the toolbar to enter the required range of lower left and upper right coordinates. This feature is particularly useful when you need to download a specific section of the map.
In addition, the software supports multi-threaded downloading and defaults to ten threads per task, resulting in high-speed downloads. Customizing the number of threads is not currently available to users. Overall, Maps Downloader For Google Satellite is a reliable and efficient tool for downloading high-quality, detailed satellite images from Google maps.
