Matrix Public Net is a messaging software that enables the distribution of brief voice messages via a web of trustworthy connections.
This software proposes an extension of the Blogosphere, which is a network of weblogs that operate based on implicit connections between individual blogs and their users. By making these connections explicit through a web of trust, a reputation mechanism is created. This system leverages social networks to distribute news and can be implemented as a decentralized system with a simple extension to the Blogosphere.
The system is explained in a paper and presentation delivered at the Mobile Entertainment conference in Manchester. The RSS MPN-Interest module forms the first part of this extension. With this software, users can benefit from the many advantages of social networks for news distribution.
