mCore Lite is a user-friendly component for enabling 2-way SMS in desktop or web applications. It's compatible with any ETSI 07.05 compliant GSM modem or phone handset connected to a PC's serial port.
By using mCore Lite, you can develop a wide range of applications that require sending and receiving SMS messages, whether in English or other languages. With its support for both 7-bit GSM default Alphabet and 8-bit ANSI and 16-bit Unicode characters, you can send and receive SMS in international languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, and Thai.
There are a number of useful features that come packed with mCore Lite. These include the ability to send and receive SMS, send Flash SMS for immediate displays and alerts, set SMSC or use the default one stored in Phone/SIM memory, and read messages from either phone memory or SIM memory.
You can also opt to send long messages with simple or formatted splitting, or as a concatenated message. Moreover, you have the option to read incoming concatenated messages as one single message or multiple parts, as well as delete messages from your modem's memory.
With mCore Lite, you can also send custom AT Commands and read response (terminal mode) and read various modem and network parameters, including Manufacturer, Model, IMEI, Signal Strength (in dB as well as percent), among others.
Finally, the standard license for mCore Lite allows you to install and use this component on multiple computers within an enterprise. If you need distribution rights, you'll have to purchase the "mCore Lite - Distribution License".
