This software presents RAM usage by processes in a user-friendly format.
Luckily, my software tool is here to help. It simplifies memory metrics by providing only one number, taken from the pmap tool, and presents it in an easy-to-read format. The processes are then sorted, starting from the biggest ones, to provide a quick overview of memory usage at a glance.
Although the output format may resemble that of the (h)top command, it's intended to run for long periods, ranging from five minutes up to an hour. The software shows changes from the previous period, making it ideal for anyone seeking a more in-depth understanding of memory usage trends.
If you're looking to reduce memory consumption of your box but don't know which processes are taking up the most RAM, this tool is perfect for you. Try it out and see how it revolutionizes your system monitoring experience.
