Revamped Military State theme - an updated version now available.
GNOME is an international project dedicated to constructing a complete desktop environment - the graphical user interface that sits atop an operating system - entirely free of charge. This encompasses developing software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on programs that manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management. GNOME is used with various Unix-like operating systems, such as Linux and Solaris' Java Desktop System. The name initially stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, but it is now considered deprecated. The GNOME project prioritizes simplicity, ease-of-use, and the overall goal of making things "just work."
