A Mac puzzle game that is free and easy to play.
Your primary objective in Mindwall is to move your red square on the wall and use CTRL to punch a one-square-sized hole in the wall. The newly-created space, along with any pre-existing ones, should be significant enough to allow "your shape" to pass through. If the wall fills the entire screen before you can make a selection, you lose. And, if you choose incorrectly, you also lose. As levels progress, "your shape" will change, further complicating the gameplay.
The game's structure is straightforward, but there is a sense of time pressure and the need to think fast to perform quick spatial reasoning. The graphics are minimalist, yet still appealing, while the soundscape of the game successfully evokes a feeling of impending doom. The animation shown when you lose is also visually appealing.
Overall, the only significant criticism of Mindwall is that it's too short, indicating that the game is of good quality.
