MissileGUI is a user interface software that interacts with the Dream Cheeky USB Missile Launcher through a USB launcher program, simplifying control and management.
One thing to note is that the USB Launcher backend must be executed as root, and so should the GUI. To begin controlling the missile launcher, users must select the "ctlmissile" executable file they had compiled, which can be accessed through the file selector located at the top of the window. Instructions on how to compile this executable can be found on the USB Launcher backend's README file.
Once the "ctlmissile" executable is loaded, users can proceed to use MissileGUI's directional arrow keys to move the launcher around or fire missiles. To move the launcher in larger increments, users can use the Ctrl key in conjunction with the directional keys, while for even larger movements, they can use the Shift key.
One can also trigger a missile to fire using the Enter key.
MissileGUI requires the use of Kommander, an open-source visual dialog editor that allows users to create interactive dialogs, forms, and wizards for KDE.
